All clubs are held on a Sunday and run from 1:45-4pm at St Michaels Church Hall (unless stated otherwise) with volunteers arriving earlier to set up. Alerts will be given via text groups and Facebook for updates and reminders. During the Clubs all parents/carers are welcome to relax and socialise, have a coffee with other parent/carers, even join in the fun or just be happy to watch it all unfold. Our volunteers will organise entertainment for the children through a range of activities. Our usual activities include arts/crafts, soft-play, music, games consoles and even a portable Sensory Room with toys and equipment for those that need a little 'time-out'. We often hold themed club dates such as Halloween Party, Christmas Party and Easter Egg Hunt and we also often arrange trips outside our usual space such as trips to the cinema, Glasgow Science Centre and swimming amongst other things. Our Clubs are becoming busier, and with more funding we are adding a wider range of activities for all.
Latest Event
The most recent SAMs event was our annual holiday at Drimsyne Estate in Loch Goilhead. It took place from Monday 27 July until Friday 31 July. This has now been our 5th summer holiday at Lochgoilhead and it seems to get better every summer. From Monday to Thursday our families got to take part in a variety of different activities helped organised by our brilliant volunteers. Some of the activities this year included swimming, soft play, climbing, lazer tag, archery, axe throwing, cake baking as well as a whole host of arts & crafts.
