All clubs are held on a Sunday and run from 1:45-4pm at St Michaels Church Hall (unless stated otherwise) with volunteers arriving earlier to set up. Alerts will be given via text groups and Facebook for updates and reminders. During the Clubs all parents/carers are welcome to relax and socialise with other parent/carers or they can leave their children at the club and come back when it finishes (The Glasgow Forge shopping Centre is just across the road!). Our volunteers will organise entertainment for the children through a range of activities. Our usual activities include arts/crafts, soft-play, music, games consoles and even a portable Sensory Room with toys and equipment for those that need a little 'time-out'. We often hold themed club dates such as Halloween Party, Christmas Party and Easter Egg Hunt and we also often arrange trips outside our usual space such as trips to the cinema, Glasgow Science Centre and swimming amongst other things. Our Clubs are becoming busier, and with more funding we are adding a wider range of activities for all.
Latest Event
Our most recent event was our monthly club on Sunday 21 April 2024. This was our cinema trip to the Cineworld Parkhead at the Forge shopping centre. We plan a trip to this cinema once a year and everyone always has a great time. The cinema lets our club have a full cinema room all to ourselves to watch one of the latest kids movies. This year we went to watch Kung Fu Panda 4! The film went down a treat with plenty laughs and giggles throughout. All the kids got free goodies, popcorn and drinks to enjoy whilst watching the film.
