The Volunteer Team

The SAMs Club is nothing without the people who contribute their time and energy to run it. We have a great team who give so much of their time to enrich the lives of others. Here are our current volunteers that have delivered our amazing clubs and exceptional trips. We are always grateful to those that have helped in the past and wish them all the best for the future.

Colin

Colin is the boss (kinda), the chairperson, the Club Treasurer, a founding member and of course a keen volunteer.

Cara

Cara is the the club Secretary, the Caravan Co-ordinator and a founding member of the club as well as a keen volunteer.

Carmen

Carmen is the club co-ordinator, and takes the lead with organising the SAMs monthly clubs. She has been volunteering with SAMs for a number of years now.

Lauren

Lauren is also a club co-ordinator. She has been volunteering with SAMs for s number of years now. As well as joining in with the fun she also works very hard behind the scenes to ensure we all have the best time! She helps to organise our monthly clubs and also our annual holiday. She does this with her twin sister Carmen.

Carol

Carol is one of our club volunteers. She has volunteered with SAMs for many years and has helped organise monthly clubs as well as club meetings.

Scott

Scott is volunteer for SAMs. He helps to update the SAMs website and Social Media. He also enjoys entertaining the kids at the monthly clubs.

Chantelle

Chantelle is a volunteer for SAMs. She has been volunteering with SAMS for a number of years now and is a keen helper at our monthly clubs.

Heather R

Heather has been volunteering with SAMs since the very beginning! A regular helper at our monthly clubs and annual holidays

Heather D

Heather is a volunteer that has been working with SAMs for a number of years. She helps out at our monthly clubs and our annual holiday.

Danielle

Danielle is one of our longest-serving volunteers. She has been volunteering with the club since the start. Danielle loves getting involved in all the madness and helping to give the kids a great time! In recent years she has also taken responsibility for expenses on our annual holiday. If there’s a question about money on our holiday then she’s yer wuman!

Sarah

Sarah has been volunteering with SAMs for a few years now. She helps out at the monthly clubs and the annual holiday.

Liv

Liv has been volunteering with SAMs for a few years now. She regularly helps at our monthly clubs and of course out annual holidays.

Tony

Tony is one of our longest serving volunteers. He has been volunteering at SAMS clubs and holidays for many years now and always has the biggest smile on his face! In recent years he has even brought his daughters along to help at the annual holiday.

Stephen

Stephen is one of our newest volunteers and loves to keep the kids entertained at the SAMs monthly clubs and annual holiday

Chloe

Chloe is one of the newest members to join our volunteer team and she is already doing us proud. Now a regular helper at our monthly clubs and our annual holiday

Nicola

Nicola has been volunteering with SAMS for a number of years now and is one of our longest-serving volunteers. Nicola enjoys her sports and exercise so as well as giving the kids the best time she has recently taken the responsibility of the sports day co-ordinator. We all love our annual sports day and Nicola always ensures this goes off without a hitch!

Niamh

Niamh is another one of our new volunteers at SAMs. She is a helper at our monthly clubs as well as at our annual holiday

Samantha

Samantha is one of our longest-serving volunteers. She has been coming to our clubs and holidays since almost day one. She now even brings along her daughters to help volunteer too. Samantha knows the club inside out and is always a good person ask for help/advice.

Jack

Jack is a new volunteer. He has just started coming to SAMs and went on his first SAMs holiday this year (2025). He has been a big help and is fitting in well! He is definitely coming popular with the kids too.
