Hoopy's Halloween Party - Sunday 29 October 23
Its Halloween time again, and here at SAMs we love Halloween! Halloween gives us all a good excuse to dress up and and have some fun in fancy dress - Children and Volunteers included! We love to celebrate the spookiest time of the year so we decided to mark the occasion by organising a wee outing to the annual Hoopy’s Halloween Party at Celtic Park. SAMS has arranged outings to this party on three occasions before including just last year. We all remember having a great time so why not go and do it all again! The party was based in one of the function rooms at Celtic Park and of course was a fancy dress party for Halloween. There were some great costumes worn by all the kids and even some of our helpers too! It was so good to see everyone get in the Halloween spirit.
The party entertainment consisted of a magician and a disco along with a special guest appearance from Hoopy the hound! All the action was on the dancefloor with some great dance moves on the go especially during some of the party games. There was even a prize for the best costume too which was a very tough one to decide since everyone looked so great! All that dancing certainly worked up an appetite and just as well as there was a yummy cooked lunch provided for everyone and plenty snacks and drinks to feast on too.
It was fair to say that, all our volunteers and kids were knackered by the end of the afternoon. Definitely a sign of a good party! The entertainment along with quality SAMS banter kept us all smiling throughout. It was definitely a Halloween to remember.
